Fare Start, a Seattle restaurant and training ground for homeless people desiring to enter the hospitality industry. Great food, great service, downtown location.
KPLU, a Seattle-area National Public Radio affiliate. I especially appreciate them for their “All Blues” shows on Saturday and Sunday nights.
Volunteer Activities:
I’ve been a Cub Scout leader, school advisory board member, ski bus chaperone, salsa dance instructor and tree planter, among other things. In high school, I joined Amigos de las Americas, giving vaccinations in Bolivia and doing a nutritional survey in Guatemala. I haven’t always been able to be involved, but my current activities are:
